Whether anyone will read this or not, here I am! As you’ll probably know, I’m doing a bit of travelling through western Canada for the next few weeks and I’m going to write about it here a little bit. It won’t be anything too detailed or mundane, just some thoughts and observations, hopefully, and a way for friends to catch up with what I’m doing. (I’ll import it into Facebook as well.) After that I’ll also update from time to time over my next few months at UBC to let you how things are going.
This is my first attempt at such things, so I profusely apologise for not being a natural blogger and promise to try my very hardest not get bogged down in the self-indulgence and general banality that tends to come with being one!
So, enjoy, if at all possible, and see you soon (although sadly not in a literal sense!)

Hey Nessa! I don’t know if you’ll get this reply but basically I’m out here on exchange, studying in Vancouver till Christmas. Hopefully a bit of fun inbetween as well! Turns out I did a great job of not explaining this to anyone before I went.
